Thursday/Friday Runners

We only have two runners on Thursday and they are both two year olds who run at Newbury. Mutakatif is a full brother to Harbour Watch and ran with a lot of promise on his debut at Haydock. He’s been fine at home since. Richard Hills worked him on Saturday and was happy. Lifeboat is a horse who has surprised us a bit. Initially we thought he would be one for later in the season, however once we started doing a bit more with him he came to hand quite quickly. Saying that he’ll probably need his debut race and will learn plenty from it.

On Friday Global Passion and Thaaqib run at Sandown. Global Passion came from the French Breeze Up Sale and looks like a sprinter through and through. He’s been very professional at home and we’re hopeful of a good show. Thaaqib was disappointing last time, and his work at home had only been so so. However we worked him in blinkers last week and he went a lot better. They’re on for the race so lets hope they have the desired effect on the track.

Bin Daahir learnt plenty from his first run and has been much more switched on at home. Hoepfully he will competitive at Chepstow.
