Things are heating up

We’re immediately back to the usual Monday stamping ground, Windsor, with a couple of runners. Rock Of Estonia (by Society Rock) has done everything right at home, but as our first two year old runner we’re slightly in the dark as to where we are with them. Most of them need the run and it will be interesting to see how he goes. Sakurajima has been gelded over the winter. His work at home has got better the more he’s done,  but he has a dreadful draw so today may not be the day.

Coya has her second run at Lingfield on Tuesday – she’s come on a lot for the first run but will probably need another run to get her straight. Angel Of Darkness is going nicely at home. She travels strongly in her races so 6 furlongs should suit.

Glorious Artist makes a quick return to action on Wednesday at Kempton. He’s come out of his race on Saturday in great form. Heatstroke is a talented horse, but has had his fair share of problems. He’s been gelded over the winter which seems to have calmed him down and stopped him sweating so much. He needs good ground, which he should get at Nottingham, and his work has been pleasing. Never You Mind has tightened up for his first race at Doncaster, but mentally may still need another run for the penny to drop.

We have two entries at Bath on Good Friday – Doctor Bartolo and Love On The Rocks. As long as their work is good on Wednesday they’ll probably run.
