Mulhimatty wins, but there’s a frustrating second for Grapevine.

Mulhimatty might not be very big, but what she lacks in stature she makes up for in determination and really wanted to win at Newbury on Friday. She’s very well bred, being out of a stakes placed half sister to Muhaarar, so winning with her was very important. We have her two year old half sister by Oasis Dream who looks very nice.

Grapevine was the winner everywhere bar the line on Saturday. He probably could have done with a strong pace as he was quite keen. He’s done really well from three to four and should give his owners a lot of fun this season.
