Mujbar takes The Horris Hill

He had a bit to live up to having so many illustrious siblings, but Mujbar showed he is well above average by winning the Horris Hill at Newbury. His work at home was good running up to the race, so although Jim Crowley chose to ride another horse we knew he would run well. He definitely needs some cut in the ground to show his best, although I don’t think any of them really enjoyed the extremely testing conditions. He saw the seven furlongs out well, and should get a mile as the Muhaarar’s seem to stay further than he did. We were delighted to win a group race with one of Muhaarar’s progeny, as he was such an amazing horse for us and a true champion.
