Quiet few days ahead

Rebel De Lope is our only runner today when he runs in the seven furlong handicap at Chester. He showed lots of speed at Sandown, but got caught out up the hill. Hopefully he can use it to his advantage round the bends at Chester.

On Friday Sasini has her first run of the season at Nottingham. She’s a nice filly, but hasn’t run since last July so may well need it. Glorious Power also runs. His last run at Epsom was a complete write off, he’s been in good form at home since and should have a decent chance.

Takatul runs at Lingfield on Saturday afternoon. We’re trying to get his rating up to run in the Hunt Cup as we feel he’s a horse who is capable of that sort of standard, but he needs to win well along the way.

Afaak goes up to Thirsk to take part in the mile maiden. He’s come on plenty for his run at Newmarket both mentally and physically, and we are hopeful of a good show.
