Magic and Cotai in action on Sunday

Magical Memory and Cotai Glory have a new sprinting star to deal with in the yard – however they both run on Sunday aiming to show Battaash he’s not the only top sprinter in town!

Magical Memory left for France on Friday, has arrived safely and had a quiet canter round the track this morning. He’s been very fresh and well since his Newbury win and managed to get his regular partner Nicola off last Saturday. Nicola has travelled over with him and it would be lovely for him to get his head in front when she is with him, as she’s usually in the yard fulfilling her role as Head Lad in Barn 3 when he runs. He couldn’t look any better so hopefully that is reflected in his run.

Cotai Glory went faster than we’ve seen him go in a long time when he worked on Wednesday, and everyone who is close to him say he’s in the best form he’s been in all year. He has two things to overcome at Chester, first of all the turns and secondly the trip as he hasn’t often run over 6 furlongs. Getting his head in front would do him the world of good, so lets hope it happens.
