Last week’s roundup
We were delighted to see Garter win again on Saturday. She had a really nasty injury as a two year old and her owners have been very understanding. Their patience has been rewarded, and she is due to run throughout the winter months on the all weather. Seven furlongs seems to be her optimum trip and hopefully she can brighten up the winter months for everyone involved.
We sent Coral Sea to France last week to try and get that illusive win. Unfortunately she was second, however she ran really well. We will give her a short break and are thinking about bring her back in February and maybe sending her to Deauville to see if she can break her maiden there.
Gloriux just didn’t handle the track at Lingfield from his outside draw. We will leave him now and bring him back in the spring. He’s a very fast horse, who showed he was no mug when finishing second first time out.
