Glorious Friday at Goodwood

It’s not often you get a day like we did yesterday at Goodwood. Battaash is obviously very good and hasn’t let us down at all this year. It was a strong race and he beat two Group 1 winners fair and square. It looks like he’s pretty versatile regarding the ground too so we’re very much looking forward to the Nunthorpe at York. As we’ve said before it’s been a bit of a mission to turn him into the horse he is now – so once again a huge thanks to everyone involved.

Red Roman is a lovely horse, who is very laid back and just eats and sleeps at home. He often works with Nebo, who ran so well in the Richmond Stakes, and had gone well with him last weekend so we were hopeful of a good show. He clearly loves a bit of give and we’ll be looking for that the next time he runs. You really wouldn’t know how much there is left in the locker with him.
