Dutch Connection returns home

Dutch Connection is back home in his stable following his run in the Breeders Cup. We’ve come to the conclusion that he probably doesn’t really act round the tight turns of the American tracks as it’s the second time a jockey has got off him and said he struggled. We gave him the benefit of the doubt in Keeneland last year as the ground had gone soft – but again this time he just couldn’t quicken coming around the turn which is essential in American racing.  He’s taken the trip in his stride and will now have a break as he’s been in training constantly since he was a yearling. He’s a great horse to have around and we’re looking forward to campaigning him next year.
