Battaash home safe and sound
We’re not really sure why Battaash underperformed on Sunday, but he’s come back none the worse. It could have been the fact that he was stabled in the yard right next to the Grandstand and he got a bit wound up by all the constant noise and horses walking around. He is what he is, and we can’t change him so we may have to look at other options if he returns next year. He’s now finished for the season and will go back to Shadwell for his annual holiday where he quite rightly gets spoilt rotten.
